In versions with interchangeable embedding molds, the outside diameter of the embedding cylinder is constant regardless of the embedding diameter: the smaller the embedding diameter tightened, the greater the wall thickness of the cylinder. In addition, at each change of diameter, the thermal coupling of the coating cylinder with the heating/cooling body must be optimized by means of a coupling paste.

With this model, to change the coating diameter, the complete head is changed, which allows for the optimum coating cylinder wall thickness. This solution therefore offers the advantages of reducing the thermal inertia of the embedding cylinder and avoiding coupling paste problems.

Fully automatic cycle mounting press which differs from the Evolution version by a larger pneumatic cylinder in order to achieve higher forces/pressures for large diameters or for coating with any type of thermosetting or thermoplastic resin including transparent.

The entire work cycle is managed by an easily programmable microprocessor. The wide range of machines meets all the needs of the metallurgical laboratory.

The displacement of the double-acting pneumatic cylinder is provided by compressed air (generally available in a metallography laboratory: if this is not the case, see the hydraulic IPA models)
