Split tube furnaces

We deliver split tube furnaces exactly to customer requirements. Our standard split tube chambers start at 25mm diameter and have a maximum working temperature of 1100°C. On standard split tube furnaces we use cast element slabs with embedded resistant wire elements, this creates a hard wearing, smooth working surface with no exposed elements, providing excellent temperature uniformity down the length of the work tube.

Ultra ‘high grade’ insulation materials are used to ensure our furnaces are as energy efficient as possible.

Our split tubes are available in either single zone or three zone configurations.

All our split tube furnaces are fitted with an automatic cut off switch which turns the power to the elements off when the furnace is opened.

Independent over-temperature protection is available as an option, using a digital alarm working from a separate thermocouple, safeguarding both the furnace or any furnace contents from over-heat damage at any temperature.

Our split tube furnaces are supported by a wide range of equipment and extras such as RS 232, RS 485 comms, stainless steel gas tight ends, ceramic work tubes, multiple heated zones, programmers and recorders.

Our factory also have extensive experience fabricating unique and bespoke split tube designs and solutions such as rotating chambers and high temperature versions which are capable of maintaining 1800°C. For more information, please contact us.
