DEMOTEC 33

Demotec 33 is a 2-component acrylic embedding resin that cures very quickly and can be chemically dissolved in acetone after polymerization. This feature is interesting if the bare sample is to be recovered after polishing for archiving or other operations.

Specific features:

- well suited for rapid coating

- reduced shrinkage (volume 3~4%, linear 1.3~1.7%)

- good adhesion

- high hardness, Shore D 85, high abrasion resistance

- easily lapping and polishing

- color: green-transparent

- curing time: ± 6 min

- component: powder/liquid

- mixing ratio: 2/1

- workability time (20°C): 2-3 min

- curing time (20°C): 6 min

- peak temperature at curing: 88°C

- soluble: soluble in acetone

- possibility of pressurization for coating improvement: 2.0~2.5 bar
