Diamond disc XTOP

XTOP is a self-sharpening, flexible grinding disc for flat and fine grinding applications, replacing abrasive papers in grinding hard materials. Precision graded diamond and optimized grit concentration lead to short process time, flat surface and superior edge sharpness.
By its composition and the thickness of the deposit of composite Diamond, XTOP is suitable for hard materials to very hard from 200 HV and above as very hard steels, carbides, ceramics, ...

XTOP consists of mini lozenges of diamonds mounted on an intermediate support itself attached to a metal tray.    

Compared to other solutions, XTOP has the following advantages:
  • very long lifetime with minimal maintenance
  • best crushing strength = > high rigidity, best flatness and more 'aggressive'
  • grain size available: 125/75/40/20 µm
  • less risk of tearing
  • intended for use with magnetic trays like XMAG
