The durometer operating stand Model OS-3 is a fully automatic system for durometer hardness testing. The system consists of an operating stand model OS-3 and the operating panel DuroLifter

Operating Stand OS-3
A stepping motor raises and lowers the durometer including weight. Therefore the speed of the durometer to the sample will always be the same. Subjective test errors are eliminated. Analogue and digital durometers can be used. Due to the rack and handwheels the durometer-unit can be easily adjusted in height. The durometer-unit is equipped with an anti-swivel unit.

DuroLifter
Operating panel with the functions START/STOP. Preset measuring time from 1 to 99 s for analogue durometers. The digital durometer HDD-2 can be connected. Therefore data transfer is possible from HDD-2 to the PC (USB-port) via DuroLifter. Operation of the entire system will also be possible by means of digital durometer software HDDS. A foot switch is standard delivered.

Features
  • The durometer operating stand works on the constant load principle. The sample is positioned on the support table. The durometer is lowered at constant speed by means of a motor. The hardness value can be read directly from the durometer.
  • The stable durometer-unit consists of aluminium. Due to the low weight the durometer-unit can be easily adjusted in height. Small and big samples can be tested in the durometer operating stand.
  • A crash ring - mounted on the column - eliminates a crash between durometer and support table, when lifting or lowering the durometer-unit.
