Fix the durometer test head to the iron / steel surface by means of the magnetic attraction force. The central part of this Brinell magnetic type tester is a small hydraulic system. The operator can actuate the hydraulic pump to produce a test force of 750 kg by operating the pressure lever. There is a control valve in the hydraulic system which is used to control the test force. When the test force reaches 750 kg, the control valve opens and closes immediately to maintain the force. In accordance with EN ISO 6506, ASTM E110 and GB / T 4285, maintain the test force for 10 to 15 seconds before unloading and measure the indentation size with the measuring microscope.

Characteristics
  • test possible on a surface accessible on only one side of the room.
  • no need to move the part.
  • great freedom to choose the location of the measuring point
  • test condition: Ø5 mm ball, 750 kg force, results in a larger indentation and better representativeness and easier reading than with a Ø2.5 mm ball.
  • compared with other Brinell hydraulic hardness tester, simpler operation, easier to carry.
  • ability to test construction materials, parts and steel of any shape and size.

Applications
  • for castings, forgings, sheet steel, steel pipe, structural steel and pressure steel, which other testers have not been able to test or difficult to test.
  • for macro-axes, sleepers, huge or super-huge heat treatment parts.
  • for pipes, large equipment and huge steel structural parts already welded or assembled.
  • only for magnetic steel
