Fixed focus "Vario-Scales" glass measuring magnifier with aplanatic optics (image without distortion on the edge!) Made with Ø 30 mm white glass lenses. The silicate glass lenses used here are not only scratch resistant, they also shine with high depth of field and extremely high contrast imaging. UV-absorbing crown lens is used in production, as with corrective lenses (refractive index n = 1.52). For the highest test requirements or very delicate jobs where very good imaging properties are required!

An aplanatic lens system consists of 2 plano-convex lenses, which are arranged with their curved (convex) side to each other and show a sharp and distortion-free image due to this arrangement. These plano-convex lenses are mainly made of glass. Aplanatic lens systems are used in loupes which must have excellent imaging properties to the edge. These loupes differ from `` standard '' biconvex lens loupes due to their significantly better imaging properties, as the distortions that typically occur in the marginal area are completely eliminated.
