Micrometer equipped with a high precision linear glass measuring ruler, eliminates measurement errors/linearity of rotary encoders coupled with the machining tolerance of the threaded spindle.
Another advantage is that the mobile measuring spindle is non-rotating and has a double rapid movement device with a spring system to obtain a measuring pressure of 5~10 N
