thanks to its crucible driven from the outside (translation + rotation), the LSSA-011 vacuum impregnation unit allows the resin to be poured onto the sample in its embedding mold under maximum vacuum and to mount several samples .
the vacuum mounting chamber is designed to fill sample voids and remove air bubbles in the resin by first evacuating, then pouring the resin, then slowly increasing the pressure in order to force or push liquid resin (epoxy, acrylic or polyester) into voids, porosity, cracks or other crevices in the sample.
