the hygrometer BL Compact TF-IR 2 has sensors for infrared surface temperature measurements as well as for measuring air temperature and relative air humidity.
this combination of different measurement techniques allows the TF-IR 2 unit to be used to quickly and reliably assess dew point overruns or to determine boundary conditions on surfaces such as walls, ceilings, floors as well as on window or door lintels.
in addition to displaying the measured value, the unit creates an audible signal when a critical surface temperature is detected.
using the unit in a timely manner helps prevent the formation of mold (fungal growth) and the appearance of moisture caused by condensation.
the measurement sensor is exchangeable. Several of these sensors (pluggable TF sticks) can be placed in different places (environments). Thus, successive measurements at these locations can be carried out more quickly, since long adaptation times can be avoided (compared to a counter with a fixed sensor).
three different measured values are clearly displayed simultaneously, for example the combination of relative humidity, air temperature and dew point.
